In a back-and-forth affair, Valley bounced back from a dismal four-point third quarter and ended the game on a 13-8 run, led by Heather Roundy and Nicole Heaton, to escape with the one-point victory over Bryce Valley and take home third place. Bryce Valley thought it tied things up at 36-36 with just eight seconds remaining after drilling a key free throw, however, it was waived off due to a lane violation and the visitors hung on for the thrilling win. Heaton finished with a game-high 22 points, while Roundy drilled the go-ahead jumper with 10 seconds remaining and secured the game-sealing rebound in the final seconds.
