Dixie overcame an eight-point first half deficit, and outscored Cedar 9-5 in the fourth quarter to pull off the minor 3A semifinal upset. Cedar beat Dixie by a combined 10 points in two region meetings this year, but Kelsey McCann and Caroline Lantor scored 11 and 10 points respectively to avenge the loss at the Dee Events Center. Cedar had a chance to potentially win the game, but missed a running jumper with five seconds remaining.
