The semifinal round of the 4A state playoffs was every bit exciting as it should have been. The nail-biting victory was earned in the final minutes, coming down to the wire and testing the girls at the free-throw line. Four players scored in double digits form Springville in the win with Malia Nawahine leading with 21 points. Savannah Park was close behind with 17 while Hannah Packard and Ashli Averett combined for 21. Mountain Crest's Karlee Kartchner led all scoring with 25 points in the heartbreaking loss and pulled down an incredible 22 rebounds.
