Stifling defense helped the T-wolves to a victory over Woods Cross in the first round of the 4A state tournament at Salt Lake Community College. Offensively, the Timberwolves were led by Eternity Galeai, who scored 10, Vanessa Riggs, who added nine, and Jamaica Christensen, who finished with seven points. Emily Howey led Woods Cross with 22 points.
