The Panthers jumped to the quick lead behind Fusi Lutui's six points and Fesi Vaisigano's quick three, but Bountiful battled back to make it only a three-point deficit at the end of the first. Lutui got her third foul at the beginning of the second to take her out of the game for a few important minutes and the Braves took a 19-16 lead into the break. Kate Pawlowski hit a big three to lead the charge for Bountiful in the second quarter. Pawlowski hit three more treys for Bountiful in the beginning of the third, and the Braves expanded their lead to twelve points by the end of the quarter. West bounced back with two Krystal Mascarenas threes, two points from Lutui, and two from Shelley Towner to open up with ten unanswered points in the beginning of the fourth to cut the lead to two. Bountiful went the first seven minutes of the fourth without scoring before Chelsea Forbes hit a free throw and followed it up with a bucket. Lindsay Johnson hit a free throw to seal the win for the Braves.
