Behind f+bHaley Holmstead'sf-b stellar performance, American Fork notched an upset win to open the 5A state tournament. Holmstead finished with a game-high 26 points and anchored her team at both ends. f+bKaycee Mansfieldf-b added 10 points for the Cavemen, who pressured Riverton into several mistakes in the second half. f+bAlle Finchf-b led the Silverwolves with 14 points, and star forward f+bAmanda Hansenf-b added 12 points. She had several good offensive rebounds.
