But then the Lancer offense took off and Layton took over to control the second and fourth quarters. Katie King led the team's scoring with 15 points. Amelia Whatcott got the offense started scoring all of her eight points in the second quarter. Danielle McDonald and Jessica Carver added seven and six points, respectively. The Lancer defense held West Jordan to just a single point in the game's final quarter. Mandi Littlefield led the Jaguars with 11 points, and teammate McKenzie Mash added eight.
