The Hawks had three players in double digits as they advance to the quarterfinals of the 5A girls basketball state tournament with a win over the Warriors. Sarah Butler finished with a game-high 17 points, while Deanne Hanchett added 15 points and 14 rebounds. Jenessa McKray added 11 and Lisa Crump nine points in the win. The sixth seeded Warriors started slow offensively, but their defense kept them in the game. In the second half, Alta really turned on the offense and Weber just couldn't keep up. Malissa Oman led the team with 14 points, while Lauren Jones added seven points in the loss.
