The Brighton defense held Clearfield scoreless until 1:30 left in the first quarter. Vanessa Hutson led Brighton with 23 points, while Allie Evans added 11 points. Brighton's foul shooting won the game for them as they made 24-27. Clearfield actually had more field goals, but was just 9-14 from the freethrow line. The Falcons were led offensively by Heidi Clemmer who had 20 points. Katie Nye added 10 points in the loss. Brighton will take on Fremont in Friday's 11:40 a.m. semi-final game.
