Danielle Newell led the Bengals to a first-round win over the Viewmont Vikings by scoring in every quarter. She finished with 15 points, while teammates Vanessa Hutson and Alofa Toia each added 12 and Megan Murdock scored 11 points. Viewmont was led by Cidney Judkins, Natalie Ellis and Ashley Rampton, who each scored eight points in the loss. Emily Allen added seven and Airial Salvo had five points. The Bengals move onto Thursday's quarterfinals where they will play Clearfield at 7:40 p.m.
