The Lions blocked a three-point attempt by the Knights at the buzzer to preserve the win. Sophomore Sandy Marvin led Payson's attack with 13 points, 11 coming in the second half. Karlee Partridge had 10. For Lone Peak, Larissa Laycock scored 11 and Raquel Cramer and Emilee Webster had eight each.
