After trailing the entire first quarter, the Wayne Badgers ran off 12 straight points in the second quarter and eventually opened a nine-point lead in defeating Duchesne 52-44 for fifth place. The Eagles never got closer than five again. Ashlee Jensen led the Badgers with 16 points. Nicole Blackburn and Magon Jones had 10 each. For Duchesne, Lindsay Mullins scored 13 and Jolynn Ivie hit for nine.
