Lacey Heaton hit a 15-footer with 13 seconds left in Valley's game against Whitehorse to put the Buffalo up by two points at 42-40. Then Jana Glover grabbed a defensive rebound and a final Raider shot fell short as time expired and Valley advanced to the 1A championship game Saturday at 4 p.m. Lacey Heaton finished with eight points, while Glover led all scorers with 17 points. Duchena Martin led Whitehorse with 10 points, and teamamte Derica Dickson added another 10.
