OREM - Waterford stayed alive in the 1A girls basketball tournament with a win over fiesty Tabiona Friday in consolation play. Jessica Hercules led Waterford offensively with 13 points, while Jessica Judd and Geneva Liimatta added eight points each. Megan Burger scored seven and Annie Judd contributed six in the win. Tabiona's Tracina Casper led all scorers with 17 points, while teammates Tracina Casper and Ashley Pippy added six points each. Waterford moves onto play the winner of the Milford/Manila game on Saturday morning.
