Game Details - Girls Basketball

TAYLOSRVILLE - The Taylorsville Warriors overcame an offensively barron third quarter, and pulled away from tenacious Bingham in the fourth quarter of the 5A semi-final game Friday. The Warriors offense came alive at the end of the game, and despite two surges by the Miners, Taylorsville hung onto its lead and the win. Led by Haylee Sodja, who finished with 13 points, the Warriors scored 25 points in the game's final quarter. Sodja hit two big 3-point shots in the second-half. Teamamte Vivian Olisa added eight points and 12 rebounds. All but two of her points came in the game's final minutes. The Miners were led again by guard Chanel Lofthouse who finished with nine points. She was the only Bingham player to score in all four quarters of the contest.
