TAYLORSVILLE - Cami Duke hit probably the biggest shot of her life in a thriller between Northridge and Bingham that went right down to the buzzer. Duke picked up an errant pass and threw it up as the clock ticked down with the score tied at 46. The ball swished through the net as the horn sounded and Bingham walked away the winners 46-44 in the first round of 5A State Tournament. Bingham was losing by a point with 25 seconds left in the game when forward Natalie Anderson was fouled on a jumper that went in. She made the freethrow and gave Bingham a two-point advantage. Knights' Francis Farani answered that with a tying basket that left nine seconds on the clock. Brooke Blair led Northridge offensively with 15 points. Anderson led the Miners with 10 points. Bingham will play Layton Thursday night at Salt Lake Community College.
