BOUNTIFUL - The Highland Rams defense held one of the state's most potent offensive players to single digits on their way to their third region win. Highland gave the Braves its first loss 48-43 in Bountiful by holding guard Nancy Seljaas to just eight points. In fact, the Rams defense was so tough, not a single Brave player scored more than nine points. Highland was led by its leading scorer, center Melissa Dennett, who scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Rams improved to 3-1 in region five.
