Hurricane (5-3) dominated the Region 9 matchup with a convincing 34-7 victory over Desert Hills (2-6). The Tigers set the tone early, with Dylan Gabriel finding Bradley Rose for a 5-yard touchdown pass late in the first quarter. Hurricane extended its lead in the second quarter, first with Tanner Matua's 27-yard interception return and then with Austyn McRoberts’ 7-yard touchdown run. Brody Jacobs further cemented Hurricane's lead with impressive touchdown runs, including a 45-yarder in the third quarter and another 15 yards in the fourth. Desert Hills managed to avoid the shutout with a 3-yard run from Isaac Andresen in the final quarter.
