San Clemente (1-1) cruised to a 35-15 nonregion victory over Riverton (1-2) on Friday night. The Tritons (3-0) jumped out to an early lead with a pair of first-quarter scores: a 23-yard run by Colin Granite and a 14-yard touchdown pass from Eiler King to Jaxson Rex. San Clemente extended the margin with two more touchdowns in the second quarter, including a 14-yard run from Carson Sloan and an 8-yard pass from King to Shane Kiley, building a 28-0 halftime lead. Riverton (2-1) managed to put points on the board in the third quarter with an 8-yard run by Xander Thayer, but Carson Sloan's 10-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter secured the victory for San Clemente.
