In one of the most fantastic finishes of the season, No. 4 Park City forced a recovered a fumble at its own 1-yard line with minutes to go to hold off a furious rally and preserve a playoff victory over No. 5 Timpanogos, 28-24. The quarterfinal victory punched the Miners' ticket to Rice-Eccles next week for the 4A state semifinals. Sebastian Bodily, Carson Navarro, Elijah Warner and William McCurdy each punched in a rushing touchdown for the Miners, who move on to the semifinals for the first time since 2019. Quarterback Chase Riggs threw for two TDs for the Timberwolves, while running back Easton Bretzing added on on the ground in the loss.
