Pleasant Grove scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to force overtime at No. 1 Skyridge, and then QB Carson Rasmussen hit Bronco Winterton on a game-winning touchdown pass in overtime as the Vikings stunned the defending state champs on their home field. After Pleasant Grove went down 20-7 with 9:31 left in the third quarter, it outscored the Falcons 27-11 as Rasmussen threw four touchdown passes in the final 7:40 of the game and overtime. Rasmussen gave Pleasant Grove a 21-20 lead with 5:21 left in the game as he connected with Makai Peterson on a 10-yard TD pass, but Jackson Stevens engineered a go-ahead drive for Skyridge as he tossed a 28-yard TD pass to Trevan McClellan for the 28-21 lead with 1:52 left. Rasmussen helped his team mark right back down field as he hit Tualau Wolfgramm on a 8-yard TD pass with 25 seconds left to send the game into OT. The Falcons went first in overtime, but was forced to settle for a field goal. PG struck quick for the victory.
