Skyridge claimed its first state championship in school history in a defensive slugfest with Corner Canyon. The Falcons held the Chargers to their lowest point total in an instate game since 2015 while pulling away in the fourth quarter with a touchdown pass from McCae Hillstead to Jace Doman to make it a two-score game. The Skyridge defense sealed the deal with a fourth-down stop inside the 5-yard line with just over 3 minutes remaining in the game. Hillstead finished with 19-28 passing for 182 yards and two touchdowns in his last game.
