Box Elder played a strong defensive game to take the win on the road against Northridge 25-13. Box Elder's Ryan Griffin ran one into the end zone and also slinged two touchdown passes to Cole Mortensen. Mortensen also scored a field goal for the Bees. "Our team battled through adversity all game and stayed together and won this game as a team. It was a tough region 5 game that went back and forth. Our defense played "bend but don't break" defense and had some great and timely stops. I am impressed with the leadership on this team.
