Spanish Fork kept Desert Hills out of the endzone for most of the game as the Dons handed the Thunder their first loss of the season. Desert Hills kicker Shayden Scott had two field goals in the first quarter, but the Dons scored the next 19 points to run away with the win. Dons senior Joshua Buck led the winning effort with two rushing touchdowns. "Desert Hills is a big, fast team, and we needed everyone to play well tonight. We really made a jump from last week and the boys rallied around a sophomore QB getting his first start. The defense was solid all game and Josh Buck ran his guts out tonight," said Spanish Fork coach Dustin Smith.
