Visiting Orem continued its march through the 5A playoffs with another impressive victory in the quarterfinals as it edged Bountiful in an entertaining back-and-forth game. Orem went ahead for good with 2:51 remaining in the game as Mack Hixson scored on a 9-yard TD run, his second touchdown run of the game. Kohlton Brown came up big for the Tigers as well, scoring the game's first TD on a 13-yard run, and then scoring on a 90-yard kickoff return in the third quarter after Bountiful had tied the game 26-26.
