Springville used a balance attack to defeat Alta 41-7. Seth Rigtrup scored twice one on the ground and one thru the air as he ran for 102 yards. Bradey Mortensen also found the endzone twice on 6 receptions for 147 yards. Cole Clement started off the scoring (86 yards receiving) and Tevita Valeti ended the scoring on a 43 yards romp in the 3rd. "I was concerned that having three weeks we might come out slow. But our defense stepped up and forced a turnover on downs on their first drive and our offense responded by scoring on its next 5 possessions. The kids were focused and ready. Bradey played a great game and Seth showed why he is so special. I am so proud of this team and the hard work they put in everyday to prepare for the game. Alta is a great team and we just executed our game plan to perfection." said Springville coach Child.
