The Skyhawks turned to the run time and again, to great success, in their convincing win over Payson. Salem Hills racked up five rushing touchdowns, two by Ty Callister and one apiece from John Nelson, Tom Wilson and Derek Rolfe. The Skyhawks also recorded two interception returns for touchdowns, courtesy of Garrett Lloyd and Orlynn Fenn. Kicker Alex Baker was excellent as well, kicking three field goals and going seven-for-seven on extra points.
