Park City rallied late in the game, but Nathan Mecham punched in a 7-yard run as Emery converted on a 4th-and-five to give the Spartans a 26-23 lead with under a minute left. Brian Schettler had 18 tackles with three for a loss for Park City and Paul Flake logged two rushing touchdowns for Park City, but was intercepted by Emery's Nick Stoddard on desperation pass intended for Brian Schettler to end the Miners' season. Meanwhile, the Spartans move on to meet Hurricane next week.
