Timpview received a wake up call against Orem. After the T-Birds took a 17-0 lead, the Tigers scored 14 unanswered points to come within three points. Then BYU recruit Colby Jorgensen turned the tides with a 27-yard pick six for Timpview. The T-Birds would never look back from that point forth en route to the blowout win. On a side note, highly touted Timpview running back Bryson McKenzie was diagnosed with a torn MCL and will likely miss the rest of the season.
