Running back Mike Hague and the Bengal offense overcame a myriad of mistakes by making some big plays to earn a pre-season win against Cottonwood. Hague score four touchdowns, including one interception that he ran back 37 yards for the team's first score of the second half. Jesse Taylor led the team's defensive effort by blocking Cottonwood's first extra point attempt and then catching a squib kick on special teams and returning it 75 yards for a touchdown just before half-time.
