Manti overcame a 13-0 halftime defecit to win a thriller against top-ranked Juan Diego. The Soaring Eagle used both its running and passing games to earn the first two touchdowns, but Manti came out after halftime and scored one rushing touchdown and one on a long pass play. Then in the fourth quarter, Manti's f+bSpencer Harmanf-b caught a 21-yard pass from f+bTaylor Salanoaf-b to give the team the winning touchdown. Juan Diego didn't give up, as f+bChad Vaculinf-b made an 8-yard touchdown run with about four mintues left. Then Juan Diego tried a two-point conversion pass, which was broken up by Manti's f+bJason Thomsonf-b. Each team had the ball in the final minutes, but Manti's defense held the Soaring Eagle at bay.
