The defending champion Braves capitilized on three Lone Peak fumbles en route to the 4A semifinal victory. Mike Wright caught two touchdown passes from Chase Christensen in the first half, while Jorden Pope caught a third as Bountiful jumped out to the 19-0. The Braves improved to 4-0 all-time against Lone Peak, including a 23-20 win in last year's 4A championship game, and a preseason win this year. Casey Simmonds torched Lone Peak's defense with 185 rushing yards on 27 carries. Zack Wilson added 88 rushing yards.
