HYRUM ï¿½ Mountain Crest quarterback Ryan Zimmerman completed 14-of-21 passes for 225 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Mustangs to the 50-27 Class 4A quarterfinal victory over Timpview Friday. The Mustangs (9-3), who have scored 45 points or more nine times is year, scored on their first four possessions of the contest. Besides the two passing TDs, Zimmerman also rushed for a pair of touchdowns, while Nate Jackson had 14 carries for 123yards and three scores. Timpview's Brady Phillips had 17 carries for 119 yards and three TDs. Mountain Crest now plays Region 4 rival Logan in the semifinals. Logan won their earlier meeting, 29-16.
