The Eagles advanced by beating the Beetdiggers but may be shorthanded in the second round after quarterback Dusty Barker severely sprained his ankle early in the second quarter. Skyline coach Roger DuPaix said Barker is doubtful for next week's second-round game against Viewmont. The game was closely contested until late in the second quarter. Jordan trailed 14-7 and attempted a field goal but Skyline's Issac Cannon blocked the attempt and lineman Sam Barnes returned it 79 yards for a score and a two-touchdown lead. Skyline's Adam Shaw and Jeff Baird saw limited action as both returned from serious leg injuries.
