Luis Velasco scored twice for Ogden, and the Tigers edged Layton 4-3 in penalty kicks after a 2-2 draw during regulation in a nonregion game. Cody Miller and Rudy Jensen each netted a goal for the Lancers (3-1), while Rudy Jensen also added an assist. Jace Rodriguez provided the assist on one of Velasco's goals, helping Ogden (3-) reach the shootout, where they ultimately prevailed.
