Tate Pearson recorded a hat trick and three assists, leading Union to an 8-0 shutout over Wendover in a nonregion game. Union's Cody Duncan added two goals, while Coleman Berlin, Cohen McGee, and Carlos Estrada each chipped in with goals. Tycen Squire secured the shutout for the Cougars (1-0). Wendover (0-1) was unable to find the back of the net.
