Cyprus scored two goals in the second half to force East into overtime. Unfortunately for the Pirates, East dominated the exra period with two goals, scored by Landon "scraps" Carlson and Jason Cook. For some reason the referee insisted on playing the entirety of the overtime period instead of ending with a golden goal.
