Ben Powell scored all four of Wasatch's goal to lead the Wasps into the second round. Powell also became Wasatch's all-time leader for goals scored in a single season with 25. He took the title from teammate Alex Espinoza who, set the mark at 21. The victory came at a cost for the Wasps as Jonathan Wheatley went down for the season with a separated shoulder. Cesar Vargas was moved over to center-mid and did an excellent job filling in for Wheatley.
