No. 16 Northridge shut out No. 17 Maple Mountain in a dominant 10-0 victory in the first round of the 5A state tournament. Goalkeeper Daxton Kendall posted a shutout with eight saves, backed by a strong defensive performance from Jack Hall, who collected four ground balls, caused four turnovers, and notched one assist. Northridge advances to face No. 1 Park City in the second round.
