The 5A state semifinals proved to be quick work for the No. 1 Olympus Titans as they pummeled No. 4 Northridge, 19-4, to advance to their second-straight state championship game and set up a rematch with the defending champion Park City. Olympus led, 11-3, at halftime following an 8-0 run to take control of the game, and the Titans sealed the deal early on with a 6-0 run in the third quarter to get the clock running unabated. Junior attacker Charles Droitsch had five goals for the Titans. Cyril Ketts led Northridge with two goals.
