Kale Chowning and Teague Goodman each scored 28 points to lead No. 4 Manila to an 84-54 victory over No. 13 Whitehorse in the second round of the Class 1A state tournament. The Mustangs opened up a significant lead by outscoring Whitehorse 25-8 in the first quarter and never looked back. Seth Bambrough and Hudson Bair added 12 points apiece for Manila, which advances to next Thursday's quarterfinals at SLCC. Adam Joe's 15 points led Whitehorse, with Aiden Hamm adding 13.
