Elliot Bendinger scored 20 points to lead No. 11 Woods Cross to a 72-59 double-overtime victory over No. 6 Cyprus in the second round of the Class 5A state tournament. Woods Cross rallied with an 18-point fourth quarter and secured the win with a 17-4 run in the second overtime. Alen Hadzialijagic led Cyprus with 24 points, but it wasn't enough to fend off the Wildcats. With the win, Woods Cross advances to next Monday's quarterfinals at the University of Utah.
