After squandering a 17-point second half lead, Westlake regrouped and escaped Pleasant Grove with a thrilling double-overtime victory to open Region 4 play with the win. Michael Nelson drained four 3-pointers for Westlake, the fourth a buzzer-beater that sent the game into double overtime. Maizen Fausett and Asa McCord both scored 16 points to lead the Thunder. Pleasant Grove's Brody Childs led all scorers with 20 in the loss.
