Desert Hills used a dominant second half to pull away from Ben Lomond and into the 3A semifinals. With the game tied at 26-26 at the half, the Thunder outscored the Scots 29-15 in the second half. Josh Anderson came up huge for Desert Hills scoring 17 points, including 7-of-9 shooting from the foul line. His production was necessary as the Thunder's two leading scorers, Tyler Ott and Brandon Simister, only combined to score eight points.
