The Buckaroos withstood a Mustang comeback to earn fifth-place in the 1A State Tournament.Monticello was led by Cory Young who scored 17 points, earned five assists and grabbed four steals. Dallin Duncan added 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Terek Esplin finished with 11 points, 5 rebounds, four assists and two steals.The Mustangs had another impressive game from senior Kace Roundy who scored 22 points and grabbed six rebounds. Jacob Pearson scored 12 points and earned seven rebounds.
