Davis' Blake Gardner made 2 of 2 free throws with three-tenths of a second on the clock to lift the Darts to a thrilling 5A semifinal victory over Copper Hills. The Grizzlies led 46-45 in the final minute but turned the ball over twice. The last turnover came with five seconds remaining, when Gardner grabbed the loose ball, raced down court and was fouled while going up for the lay-up, where he scored his only two points of the game. The Darts pulled off the come-from-behind victory despite shooting 30 percent from the floor, compared to 44 percent for the Grizzlies. Tallon Burton led the Darts with 12 points and 13 rebounds while Landon Horne scored 14 points and Kyle Smith pulled down 11 boards. Steven Larson led all scorers with 16 points in the loss.
