BJ Porter hit two free throws with 14 seconds left and blocked Piute's ensuing three-point attmept out of bounds to help propel No. 2 Layton Christian to the 1A championship game for the first time in school history. Porter finished with a game-high 18 points and had three rim-rattling dunks. Scott Dalton scored 19 points for Piute and was clutch throughout the fourth quarter.
