Morgan jumped out to an 18-9 lead, withstood two seperate Snow Canyon rallies, and then pulled away in the 3A third-place game with a 28-16 run in the fourth quarter. Josh Shaw led the Trojans with 22 points while Reed Nielsen chipped in with 21. The win capped an incredible season for the Trojans, who finished with 24-1 record, with that lone loss coming in the semifinals against Wasatch.
