Down 51-41 with 7:04 left in the game, Holmes hit two 3-pointers and Pugmire made a basket to close Meridian's lead to two within a 1:37 span. Rich later took the lead at 55-53 when Holmes made another 3-pointer. The Mongoose took the lead 61-60 but Kyle Motta made a layup and a free throw to give Rich the win 63-61. Mack Bakker scored 25 points for Meridian and missed a 3-pointer in the final seconds.
