Timpview center Chris Miles had 10 first-quarter points and Ryan Jackson five as the T-Birds opened a 13-point lead after one period. Matt Pinegar hit two three-pointers in the second, and Matt Mortenson one to help Timpview stretch the lead to 17 at halftime. From there the T-Birds coasted. Miles finished with 12 to go along with Jackson's 12 and a dozen from Matt Pinegar. Jordan Owen had 14 for Highland and Eric Daniels 12.
